Current Thoughts

      Hello!

Welcome back to my blog! How are you?

For this post, I'm simply just going to type! I know, I could/ should of written this in my journal but hey ho. I don't really know what's going to come from this but just go with this, okay?

First up, confidence. Throughout my life so far my confidence has been growing. I used to be so shy and timid... It's weird thinking about how different I am now. The confidence I have; the ability I have to hold my own: to lead; to participate; to be myself. Just to embrace life and smile.

When I am confident I am my happiest!

Although I am confident about who I am and who I am becoming (ah! growing up!) that's not to say I see myself as flawless. I -like anyone else- still have my moments of self doubt as well as often thinking about self improvement. Self improvement is often seen in a negative light and when you wish to improve something about yourself you often get met with the classic "what are talking about? Your perfect" or "why would someone like you need to do this or that". I see it as way of bettering (if that's not a word I apologies...) yourself, becoming the person you want to be... Its like cutting your hair or growing your nails (both of witch I've done recently).

     Change is good!

That sort of brings me nicely onto my physical appearance. Lets go. I'm not really particularly fat but I definitely wouldn't call myself skinny. I would like to tone up here and there (mainly my abs area) but I don't want to obsess over losing weight. First of all working out and eating healthily means naturally you will gain muscle and muscle weighs more that fat meaning you might put on weight but you could still slim down. Comparing your weight day by day is not doing yourself justice of the hard work you've put in! I would like to lose a little bit of weight but I am mainly going for just a more slim, toned body... I can judge that by eye.

    I'm a thinker not a doer!

What are you good at? I'm good at spending days and days thinking about all the stuff I could be doing... instead of actually doing them.  Don't get me wrong I really do love sleeping, watching 'rubbish' TV, snuggling down for a good DVD, looking up workouts and healthy breakfasts on Pinterest... My small unofficial goal for the next week is to do more.

Okay! I think for today we'll leave it there! Thank you for taking the time to read all this blabber (I wonder if you even made it all the way down here). Remember to come back soon!

3 Things I Think Are Lovely...

     Hello!

welcome to my first ever blog post...well, my first ever proper post anyway! Today I've decided to share with you 3 beauty that I've been enjoying. I would recommend all three of them and I hope you enjoy reading about them!

Oh and just to let you know... They aren't in any particular order. My God, that's far too much unnecessary hassle for me on a hot summers day. Anyway, read away...

1. The Body Shop satsuma shower gel

Can you do for me just one thing? Next time you pass a Body Shop please please please go in and smell their satsuma range. The scent is so gorgeous. This shower gel is invigorating and  really wakes up your senses too. Leaves me feeling so fresh and awake!
You can get your 250ml bottle here for £4. I think, for a good quality shower gel with the best scent its not too bad- doubles as a bubble bath also. Why don't you give it as a present?

2. Avon Clearskin Pore Penetrating Black Mineral Mask

I actually got this face mask for Christmas last year and although I don't use it that regularly- Heaven forbid if i actually had time to put it on the suggested 2-3 times a week- when I do put aside 20 minutes to indulge I fall in love with it all over again.
Its dark grey in colour and helpfully turns to a lighter grey when its done its job- not really your average, pretty, flowery, girly face mask. Its such a satisfying  texture... Its like putting paint on your face (in a good way)!
you can get one here for just £2.50. Absolute bargain!

3. Nivea Daily Essentials, Caring Micellar Water

To be honest, about 6 months ago I'd never even heard of micellar waters let alone actually used one. I bought this one because it was the cheapest as the time thanks to a special offer...
i don't use this everyday because i often find that using face wipes followed by moisturizer is quicker and more convenient for me (I'm all about those extra ZZZs in bed) but that's not to say this isn't a great product. I probably use this micellar water around 3-4 times a week. It never fails to leave my face make up free, deeply cleansed, hydrated and moisturized!
Shop for your bottle here and let me know what you think!

Thanks for reading! Let me know in the comments if you have three you think are lovely and be sure to check back soon for more posts!

HELLO.

     Welcome to my blog!
This is the first blog I've had and i hope for it to be a place where I am able to share my creativity (more like madness). I intend to post about the things i love. These include pretending to be fashionable; drawing and painting whatever i can find, cooking (well...eating) lovely things and all things beauty and beautiful.
     Enjoy exploring! xx
